The annual Monterey historic weekend is one that has to be seen to be believed. There is something for everyone what with the various Concours d’Elegance events, the races at Laguna Seca and of course the auctions which this year saw total sales of over $200 million  with some great cars on sale including the first Aston Martin DBR1 that was raced by Stirling Moss which made not only a new record for an Aston Martin but a new record for the sale of a British car.

Meanwhile intertwined are many social events and cocktail parties and in such circumstances, it is no surprise that many of our Grand Prix Drivers Club members get together.

Attached are a few photographs taken at various functions including the McCall Jet Centre Party, the Quail and the Pebble Beach Concours featuring our members with Club president Howden Ganley.
